3 Bomb Blasts in 20 Minutes | 17 Killed and 100 Injured | Terror Jolts Mumbai Again

Today (July 13, 2011) 3 serial bomb blasts in Mumbai during evening hours shook the country which killed 17 and leaving around 100 people severely injured.

Within 20 minutes from the first blast, a serial blast suspected to be triggered by IED has occurred in the busy locations of Mumbai giving worst mark in the heart of India after 9/11 terror attacks. Injured people were taken to 4 hospitals as soon as people have become conscious about what has happened. All these 3 attacks have took place between 6.50 p.m. and 7.04 p.m.

Indian Mujahideen and LeT are suspected behind these attacks killing innocent lives. CCTV at the bus stop near Dadar which is one of the 3 blast place, might give an idea to the cops in dealing with this incident. Dadar, Opera House and Zaveri Bazaar are the 3 places that hit by these bomb blasts.

It is told that Opera House had faced very much intensive blasts among these 3 locations. News sources say that Zaveri Bazar is on terrorists’ hit list since 1993. Police has not come out with an answer on who is behind these attacks, however, Indian Mujahideen is a prime suspect for now.

One bomb blasted out from a Maruti Esteem car and the other one from a bike. Further reports are yet to come.

Delhi and other metros are all put on high alert following this Mumbai blast. Mumbai is the prime target being the financial hub of India.
