PATH is a US-based international nonprofit organization with the mission to improve the health of people around eh world by advancing technologies, strengthening system, and encouraging healthy behaviors. The India Tuberculosis (TB) project is funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). PATH and its six partners will support the Central TB Division (CTD) of the Revised National Tuberculosis Control Programme (RNTCP) to implement activities in TB control.
PATH seeks applications for the full time position of Deputy Project Director for the India TB Project based in Hyderabad. The position holder will work under the supervision of the India Project Director and with other PATH staff to ensure coordination of project work plan activities across technical areas and timely completion of tasks and reporting. Medical graduate or other professional degree with ten years of public health experience and a post graduate management degree is desirable. Working knowledge of specific technical areas in TB control, including TB ACSM, work place interventions, laboratory strengthening, infection control and/or MDR-TB control is highly desirable.
