Global Warming and Lifestyle of Species

Due to rise in temperature, mass migration of animal and plant species could leave marine species homeless. An international team led by Mr.Mike Burrows from the Scotish Association for Marine Science compared changing temperatures for both Land and Sea and from place to place over a 50 year period from 1960 to 2009.

Raising Temerature

The land is warming about three times faster than the Ocean and hence it is expected that species move three times faster on Land, but the facts are different. As the surface temperature of Land and Sea increases, the respective dependent species may move to cooler pastures-Ocean dependent species go deeper into the Ocean and Land dependents move to high grounds for their survival.

However, moving against the natural survival instinct, these species over a period of time become extinct going against nature.
