How to Calculate My Income Tax? For Men and Women

After the 2012-13 “Central Budget” recently, there is a change in the income tax tariff. There are savings going by this new income tax implementation as the eligibility of the minimum earning of Rs. 1,80,000 has been raised to Rs. 2,00,000 in this new budget. Which means, you need not to pay the income tax if your annual income is below Rs. 2,00,000.

The change in the eligibility for women have been changed. Earlier women were under special category to reach the eligibility in paying the Income tax. Now, they are brought under general category which means even women earners need to pay the same percentage of tax from their income as given in the general category.
