Best from Waste……A UK Scientist have claimed to develop an innovative method of charging cell phones using human urine.
Scientists working at Bristol Robotics Laboratory have described the finding of novel technique of charging cell phones using urine as the power source to generate electricity.
Scientist are excited regarding the foundation of this innovative method of harnessing electricity from ultimate waste product. By harnessing the power as urine passes through a cascade of microbial fuel cells (MFCs), they have managed to charge a mobile phone.
The beauty of this technique is that they are not relying upon nature, but doing best from the waste. The concept has been tested and its working and they are working upon to develop and refine the process so that they can develop MFCs to fully charge a battery.
The research says that Microbial Fuel Cells (MFCs) are energy converter which converts electricity directly from organic matters, via the metabolism of live microorganisms.
