Career in G& T Oil Fields

The candidate for all the position(s) below should possess a recognized degree in Engineering and have at least ten (10) years of working experience in oil and gas, preferably hook-up and commissioning of offshore platforms, chemical plants, petroleum refineries, gas compression facilities, water treatment plants or other related petroleum processing plant. In addition, the candidate should have served for at least three (3) years in this position.

GT-R01. PROJECT MANAGER

The candidate should be able to manage the overall execution of works. He must be able to plan, organize, direct, coordinate and delegate the works to ensure that all project requirements and objectives including schedule, cost, quality and safety are fulfilled.

GT-R02. OFFSHORE CONSTRUCTION SUPERINTENDENT

(MECHANICAL’ ELECTRICAL ‘INSTRUMENTATION) The candidate should be able to lead, plan, direct and coordinate multi-disciplinary construction work at sites. He must have strong leadership qualities and must be able to communicate with and motivate supervisory personnel and direct labour. The candidate also must be knowledgeable in all aspects of the work including the planning, marine and logistical requirements.

The candidate for all the position(s) below should possess a recognized degree in Engineering and have at least six (6) years of working experience in oil and gas, preferably hook-up and commissioning of offshore platforms, chemical plants, petroleum refineries, gas compression facilities, water treatment plants or other related petroleum processing plant. In addition, the candidate should have served for at least three (3) years in this position.

GT-R03. PLANNERS I SCHEDULER

The candidate should be able to develop the overall planning of work activities and perform scheduling of activities (into logical network) from the job cards developed by the work pack team. He , She must be conversant with use of application software for scheduling e.g. Microsoft Projects, Primavera 6, Artemis. others. The candidate should be able to track actual progress of work at sites and advise necessary changes in planning if necessary.

The candidate for all the position(s) below should possess a recognized degree in Nautical Studies, Marine Engineering or equivalent and should have at least five (5) years of working experience in oil and gas, preferably managing marine vessels, logistics and marine crew both onshore and offshore. In addition, the candidate should have served for at least two (2) years in this position.

GT-R04. MARINE CAPTAIN’ COORDINATOR

The candidate should possess capability to propose, develop and review anchor patterns, and should be familiar with local and international maritime standards, port and customs law and regulations, marine crew regulations and screening.

The candidate for all the position(s) below must have either a Degree in any related field. Applicants MUST have a minimum of ten (10) years experience working in the oil & gas industry and five (5) years work experience in a similar position in a related field.

GT-ROS. HSE MANAGER

Must have hands on experience and sufficient training in industrial health and occupational safety or work experience as a certified safety professional in a similar environment. Must be familiar with local health, safety and environment laws and regulations.

GT-R06. OPERATION TEAM LEADER’ CONSTRUCTION MANAGER

Must have knowledge of offshore commissioning work and minimum two (2) years experience in managing hookup and commissioning projects. Must have ability to organise and direct all activities so as to meet the schedule, quality and safety requirements of the project.

GT-R07. NDT PERSONNEL

The candidate should be familiar with UT Operators – JPK I PCN I CSWIPE I ACCP I ASNT I UT experience. He should be well versed with MT’ PTTechnician – JPK’ PCN I CSWIPE I ASNT NOT Level II with minimum two (2) years MOT I PT experience.

GT-ROS. DIMENSIONAL SURVEYOR

The candidate should be a graduate in surveying with a minimum five (5) years working experience in related discipline and minimum three (3) years as Dimensional Surveyor for three dimensional (3D) survey i.e. total station equipment.
