On Sunday, June 19, 2011 the Zee TV’s Managing Director and CEO has unveiled the new fresh aqua blue logo for “Zee Network”. The first and successful Hindi satellite channel which was started in the year 1992 had already revamped its logo in the year 2005.
Now, the Zee TV has acquired the third position in the GRP ratings chart in India. Long the distance it has come to achieve this height.
Speaking in the function of unveiling the aqua blue new log for Zee TV, the MD & CEO of the network Punit Goenka has told that women are their mass visitors and their network will concentrate more programmes for ladies. In the forthcoming months, Zee channels has plans to come up with programmes for young girls and women youth.
Punit Goenka made it simple reasoning why the revamp of the logo has been done, saying that in the broadcasting industry the we need to keep refreshing ourselves time to time.
The revamping of Zee TV logo has been done by the in house team of the channel, while advertising agency Draftfcb Ulka is the creative agency.
Explaining the new logo, Goenka said: “The new aqua blue colour logo signifies the upward movement of desires and wishes. The unshackling of the ‘Z’ from the box symbolizes today’s women’s zest for life and confidence to go out in the world beyond her home.
“The overall design has a progressive feel and reflects the idea of looking into the future. The rainbow of hope is a very important element of the new packaging. It is ethereal and symbolically emphasizes the promise of ‘Umeed Se Saje Zindagi’ celebrating hope and life,” he added.
This new logo comes with a tagline “Umeed Se Saje Zindagi”. He assured that the new logo will bring something innovative and lets hope it is not the same wine in the new bottle. The function was held at Mumbai on June 19, 2011 – Sunday night at 9 p.m. Its all just a logo!
