The much hyped and awaited Toyota Etios Liva has been launched in India today by Toyota Kirloskar, adding another competitor in the small car segment in the country. However, the price tag of this little master has not much to think about as one would be willing to own a globally accredited brand. The starting range of Liva that is J variant costs Rs. 3.99 lakhs while the top end VX variant costs a price of Rs. 5.99 lakh (ex-showroom price, New Delhi). Car lovers say that it is worth to spend on the brand Toyota.
Diesel version of Toyota Etios Liva is set to be released later next year in India. Etios Liva is powered by a 1.2 litre, 4 pot DOHC engine which pumps out 80 PS of power at 5600 rpm and 104 Nm of torque at 3100 rpm. The car also boasts of class-best fuel economy of 18.31 kmpl (ARAI tested).
The Etios Liva comes in five different variants. The variants and respective prices are:
Toyota Etios Liva J – Rs. 3.99 lakhs
Toyota Etios Liva G – Rs. 4.59 lakhs
Toyota Etios Liva G-Special Edition – Rs. 5.05 lakhs
Toyota Etios Liva V – Rs. 5.49 lakhs
Toyota Etios Liva VX – Rs. 5.99 lakhs
The base model being the stripped down version of the car would feature very few basic features while the top-end variant has exciting features such as Dual SRS Airbags, ABS, EBD, Immobilizer, Keyless Entry, steering-mounted audio controls, dual tone interiors, leather wrapped steering wheel, alloy wheels and chrome inserts on the grill and door handles.
Toyota comes up with flying colors for its Etios Liva by offering it seven exciting colours such as Vermillion Red, Celestial Black, Serene Bluish Silver, White, Symphony Silver, Harmony Beige and Ultramarine Blue.
Toyota can now boast of a portfolio complete with full range of products, right from the small car, Etios Liva to the range topping Land Cruiser SUV. The Toyota Motor’s management have set a goal of selling over 1,00,000 Etios sedans and hatchbacks in 2012.
If you can recall, the Etios siblings were first showcased in last year’s Auto Expo held at New Delhi and later travelled to across the country with the ‘Toyota Q-World’ reaching out to more than one lakh prospective customers.
Toyota Liva, as expected will compete against a range of hatchback such as Hyundai i10, Maruti Swift, Maruti Wagon R, Fiat Punto, Ford Figo et all. With a price tag of Rs 3.99 Lakh, Liva will surely have a fan following and could become a segment favorite.
There are total 20,000 Toyota Etios Liva customers . Always appreciation is been received by the customers of Toyota India . The sale figure have been up on the slop . The waiting time period have also brought down and the production is been hiked so that more and more customers can be served. Toyota Etios Liva will be available from today onwards .Currently there are 158 dealerships and will soon be expanded to 175 by the end of this year.
