Today i watched the programme on private sector insurance company’s policy how they reject the claim papers
I have bitter experience with Star health insurance
My son in law had a policy for 5 lakhs (Sum Insured) with whole family policy (4 members)

He was admitted in Sundaram Medical Foundation for a surgery on the leg; as there was no
network with that hospital the officer advised me to pay the bills and they will re-embruse

After submitting the bills for Rs 70,000-00 They wanted pre health report where and when the pain started. and they want to talk to the senior the company where he employed.

For that they would have conducted medical check up before the issuing the policy
Just collecting the cheque and issuing the policy and then they asking unnecessary questions
But they have not settled the bill and they suspected the integrerity of the hospital
In your programme also you have not exibited the total number of claims rejected and pending in Star Health insurance Co.,
this is how they cheating the people
this is for the public awarness
